New Tricks have worked with Arriva, UK Bus’s largest operating company in London since 2001. In an industry that is fast moving (literally!) and with an ever increasing demand for high standards of delivery in terms of public transport, New Tricks have produced a series of bespoke development activities to help the business achieve its objectives.

Events have included

  • Development of the Senior team through 360 degree feedback and strategy training
  • Design and implementation of succession assessment centres
  • Garage team strategy days
  • Middle Manager and Supervisor Leadership training
  • Maximising route performance through route changes

Clearly many of these events are specific to Arriva London’s needs and we have worked carefully over the years to understand and develop training that fits with their requirements. As with all of our customers we value our relationship and try to become part of the culture in which we are working. This has enabled us to provide training that is credible, well informed and effective. Because we understand the business so well, we are now beginning to work with the rest of Arriva UK Bus in developing management training programmes that will help take the business forward.
